UPNVJ Public Relations – The National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) is once again one of the locations for the 2026 Independent Selection for State Universities in the Western Region (SMMPTN Barat). The exam took place at UPNVJ on Thursday (18/6/2026) and was attended by participants from various regions who sought to gain the opportunity to enter state universities through the joint independent pathway.

The 2026 West SMMPTN (State University of West Java) selection process at UPNVJ proceeded smoothly, with the support of the committee, supervisors, and the availability of examination facilities to ensure that participants could proceed through the selection process in an orderly manner. The presence of participants from various schools demonstrated the high level of interest from prospective students in pursuing their education at state universities through an open and competitive selection process.

One of the participants, Shafierha Raisyha Heda from MAN 2 Serang City, admitted that she was enthusiastic about taking the exam. According to him, West SMMPTN is an important opportunity to continue his education at the state university he dreams of.

"I feel very enthusiastic about taking this exam because it is a great opportunity to get into the state university I dream of," said Shafierha after taking the exam.

He hopes that the results of the exams he has taken can pave the best way to realize his dream of continuing his studies at a state university. For Shafierha, taking part in independent selection is not just about taking exam questions, but also part of an effort to fight for the future of education.

The West SMMPTN is a joint independent selection pathway for state universities in western Indonesia. Through this pathway, prospective students have the opportunity to choose study programs and state universities based on their interests, abilities, and personal development plans.
