UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) officially received the Decree (SK) for the Opening of the Master's Program in Information Systems. The official document handover took place at the Jakarta Region III Higher Education Service Institute (LLDikti) Office on Thursday, September 24, 2026. UPNVJ was represented by the Head of the Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute (LPMPP) to receive the decree in person.

The decree provides the legal basis for UPNVJ's operational operations in providing postgraduate education in information systems. This addition of study programs brings the total number of study programs within UPNVJ to 46, reflecting the institution's ongoing commitment to expanding its contribution to higher education and producing superior human resources in the digital age.

On that occasion, the Head of LLDikti Region III delivered several strategic directives and crucial issues to the managers of Private Higher Education Institutions (PTS) and State Higher Education Institutions (PTN) in attendance. One of the main points emphasized was the obligation to implement a curriculum based on learning outcomes or Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in line with Permendiktisintek Number 39 of 2025. Higher education institutions are expected to be able to develop learning designs that are adaptive, relevant to industry needs, and oriented towards graduate competencies.
In addition to the OBE curriculum, the Head of LLDikti Region III also emphasized the importance of processing the initial accreditation of new study programs through the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) or the relevant Independent Accreditation Institution (LAM). This step is considered crucial to ensure academic quality and secure accreditation status for students.

Other important issues that were also socialized included meeting the minimum lecturer sufficiency requirements according to qualification standards, as well as strengthening the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at each university. Consistent and sustainable implementation of SPMI is key to maintaining the quality of academic governance.
Representing the UPNVJ leadership, the Head of LPMPP welcomed the handover of the decree and expressed UPNVJ's readiness to comply with all established regulations. UPNVJ is committed to finalizing the OBE curriculum, meeting quality assurance standards, and providing supporting infrastructure to ensure the Information Systems Master's Program meets national higher education standards.
