Dr. H. Abdul Halim, M.Ag was elected Dean of the Faculty of Law UPN "Veteran" Jakarta for the 2019-2023 period, this was marked by the inauguration by the Chancellor of UPN "veteran" Jakarta which was witnessed directly by the Deputy Chancellor and other honored guests. The inauguration process was marked by taking an oath/pledge in the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium room of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, (2/9/19).

When met by UPNVJ public relations, Abdul Halim expressed his gratitude to God Almighty and committed to doing a number of things related to faculty governance.

"I am very proud to be able to join the Law Faculty of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, in the near future I will do a number of things related to strengthening faculty governance management, with reference to the provisions set by KEMENRISTEKDIKTI and BAN PT. Apart from that, I will make improvements to improve human resources, improve organizational governance and improve law faculty accreditation," he said.

According to him, it is believed that being the dean of the law faculty is not an easy thing, there are many mandates and responsibilities that must be borne and prioritized. Abdul Halim also added that the need for support from the leadership, all academics, students and alumni to foster joint synergy in order to achieve a law faculty that has excellent accreditation.

On the other hand, Deputy Chairperson of the UPNVJ Faculty of Law BEM, Ahmad Aditia Utama hopes that the new dean of the UPNVJ Faculty of Law will be better and be able to obtain A accreditation. In addition, he asked that the Faculty of Law dean be able to listen more to the aspirations of students.
