Increasing the Role of Nurses in the Digital Age, UPN Veteran Jakarta Holds International Conference On Health Development (ICHD)

Every Profession continues to grow in the 4.0 era. many professions do not survive if they do not comply with the demands of society or the industrial world. The nursing profession has an important role in the healthcare industry, providing care to patients and filling leadership roles in hospitals. It is a demanding profession that requires a lot of dedication and commitment.

Based on this, the Faculty of Health Sciences at the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a Call Paper Conference with the theme "Reaping The Benefits of a Demographic Dividend by Achieving Quality Human Resources Through Health Investment" for lecturers' research. 23/11/2020 Hotel Mercure Jakarta.

In her remarks Erna Hernawati as Chancellor of UPNVJ hoped that "Nurses need research because it is to advance the field, especially in the field of nursing and continue to update and offer better patient care. All the research presented at this conference will contribute to the development and advancement of the health sector, especially for nursing," he explained.

In line with the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Head of the Health Education Center of the Ministry of Health, Sugianto said "In accordance with the president's vision and mission there are 5 priority programs in the 2020-2024 period, namely human resource development, infrastructure development, simplification of bureaucratic information regulations and economic transformation," he said.

This is in accordance with the president's mandate to resolve health issues related to the problem of stunting, high prices for medicines and medical devices, and the low use of domestic medical devices.

Sugianto expressed his hope that "for health workers, we hope they can contribute to health development with creative and innovative thinking to build public understanding of healthy living, then increase the competence of health workers, and drive community empowerment.

The seminar, which was opened by the Ministry of Health, represented by the Head of the Health Education Center together with the Chancellor of UPNVJ, attended by 8 professional speakers who included:
