The Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) held a national seminar at the Unity in Diversity Hall of UPNVJ, Monday (11/18/2019). The activity with the theme "Challenges for Taxation of the Digital Economy and Taxation in the 4.0 Era of Robots" was held in collaboration with DDTC.
The speaker at the seminar was Managing Partner DDTC, Darussalam, SE,Ak,CA.,M.Sc., LL.M Int. Tax and Arnaldo Purba, SE, Ak., M.Ak. MA, Ph. D., CA. DDTC is the center of various tax business activity units that have high standards, namely, consulting services (DDTC Consulting), tax study and research center (DDTC Fiscal Research), tax studies (DDTC Working Paper), tax training center (DDTC Academy), tax providers tax law documents (DDTC Tax Engine), library (DDTC Library), and tax news portal (DDTC News).
In the Chancellor's remarks, represented by the Vice Chancellor for academic affairs, Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm said that in this national seminar there is a lot of knowledge that will be gained, therefore students are expected to be active, “DDTC is a company that has mastered the field of international or national taxation. I hope that this kind of lecture is a lecture to broaden our horizons as students or lecturers to keep us current and keep abreast of current developments," he explained.
In addition, UPNVJ and DDTC will agree to establish cooperation as outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding. The MoU was carried out as a commitment to carry out cooperation related to education, research, community service, and improving the quality of human resources (HR) on the principle of partnership.
"Through this collaboration, DDTC will carry out several activities, firstly , an internship program given to students. Second , recruitment of staff in the field of research consultants, training, litigation, editorial, and other tax-related services during the agreement period. Third , seminars and training programs for teachers, students or the general public. Fourth , the workshop program for lecturers. Fifth , the tax curriculum development program. Sixth , research program. DDTC provides opportunities for students and lecturers to obtain data or information for research or research. The two of them will also hold a joint research program," said Darussalam.
Darussalam added that UPNVJ students were very interested in studying taxation, therefore he suggested that they continue to study taxation seriously because there are many opportunities for careers in tax.
