HumasUPNVJ - The Indonesian Association of Hyperbaric Doctors (IDHI) held a Medical Seminar and National Congress which took place at the UPNVJ Unity in Diversity Auditorium Building, Saturday. (23/11/2019)

Also present were the Chancellor of UPNVJ and several other honored guests. The UPNVJ Chancellor opened the activity by symbolically striking the gong.

This Seminar and National Congress was filled with several presentations from their respective experts which were divided into four material/seminar sessions.

There were two materials given in the first session, the first regarding, " Markers Associated with HPNS and DCS " was given by Prof.dr. M. Guritno Suryokusumo, SMSHS, DEA. Followed by the second material on "Diving Gas Poisoning" by Marine Major (K) Dr. Titut Harnanik, dr, M.Kes. moderated by dr. Handi Suyono, M.Ked. The activity continued with presentations by the speakers of the second session, AKBP Judy Dermawan, dr, MMKes with the topic "Guiness World Record, Diving in Manado, North Sulawesi". Marine Major (K) Suhadi, dr, MKK with material "The Role of Hyperbaric Medicine and Diving in Supporting Underwater Work", this session was moderated by Marine Colonel (K) Danny W. Danandjaja, dr, M.Kes, MARS. In session three, it was continued by Dr. I Nyoman Semadi, dr, SpB, SpBTKV (K) with material on Hyperbaric Oxygen for Clinical (especially Cardiovascular), and dr. Putu Agus Satria Jayatama S.Putra, with the material "Sudden Deafness and the Role of Hyperbaric Oxygen" and moderated by Dr. Erick Supondha, M.K.K. For session four, Dr. Prawesty Diah Utami, dr, M.Ked Exposure to Hyperbaric Oxygen Against Degrees of Parasitemia in Mice Infected with Palsmodium Berghei ANKA, dr. Retno Budiarti, M.Kes with Comparative Analysis of qPCR Measurement of HIV Viral Load and ELISA Detection of p24 Antigen after Hyperbaric Oxygen Exposure . dr. Herin Setianingsih, M.Kes with material namely, the Role of Hyperbaric Oxygen in the Prevention of Post-Atherogenic Dieting Endothelial Dysfunction.
