Humas UPNVJ - Monday, February 10 2020, the Faculty of Medicine UPN Veterans Jakarta held SENSORIK, namely the Call For Paper National Medical Research Seminar with the theme "The Role and Challenges of Indonesian Medicine in Realizing State Defense in the 4.0 era". This event was held at the Wahidin Sudirohusodo Building, UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine, inviting several well-known speakers, namely UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine professor Prof. Dr. med. Dr. Frans Santosa, MD, Sp. JP(k), FIHA, EFMA, FACA, FICA, FASA Internist, Cardiologist, Anthologist. Then the second resource person was UPNVJ Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation, namely Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa, Sp. KJ, MH. The third resource person was the Dean of the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Prijo Sidipratomo, Sp.Rad(K), MH and the fourth speaker, Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, namely dr. Pukovisa Prawirohardjo, Sp.S. This seminar was in collaboration with the Journal of Medicine and Health at Muhammadiyah University Jakarta, and was attended by students from the Faculty of Medicine, especially the UPN Veterans Jakarta Faculty of Medicine.
Rika Refina, as the committee, explained that this seminar was an event facilitated by students of the Faculty of Medicine, especially UPN Veterans Jakarta medical students, at the suggestion of the Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta Dr. Erna Hernawati, AK, CPMA, CA where students must publish through this seminar. In the interview, Rika explained that this seminar would also be announced at the end of the Best Poster and Best Oral events. In addition, after the opening ceremony is over, the students will be divided into small panel rooms and a Best Oral assessment will be carried out. Concluding the interview, Rika hoped that this seminar could motivate students to be more active in conducting research, and also be able to develop the knowledge they had acquired in lecture activities, as well as for additional knowledge for the outside community.
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. dr. Prijo Sidipratomo, Sp.Rad(K), MH, in his remarks said that institutions engaged in education and research are a necessity that will produce results. In his speech, the Dean also said that research teaches discipline. "That life is also actually research without us realizing it, and research teaches us about discipline." In addition, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine also said that in this case the Chancellor of UPNVJ wanted to make a display, or show the results of the thesis through a seminar like this. The dean also hopes that there will be appreciation if they have carried out activities like this, such as the provision of scholarships so that these activities also shape the character of students. In addition, the Dean hopes that this seminar will also be carried out in a well-structured manner.
