HumasUPNVJ - As part of the Visiting Professor program, the Faculty of Economics and Business carried out the Up Grading of Lecturer Learning Methods inviting Prof. Dato Muhamad Azemi and Prof. Dr. Abdul. Razak Abdul Hadi from the University of Kuala Lumpur, who took place at the JSX Auditorium Lt. 4 FEB UPNVJ, Wednesday. (19/02/20)
The activity was opened by the Dean of FEB, Dianwicaksih who explained that this activity certainly had many benefits, especially for lecturers in the UPNVJ FEB environment. In addition, this activity also aims to make FEB lecturers better prepared to face future challenges.
Prof. Dato Dr. Mohammad Azemi Mohd Noor in his direction conveyed several things, “We are lecturers, not teachers. So, our job is to facilitate students. It should be noted, there are several learning models that are practiced at UniKL, including: Integrating and improving the 3 basic learning outcomes in the curriculum, Innovative and effective delivery methods, supporting knowledge related to supply chain and currency through partnerships /collaboration, increasing experiential learning, skills and competencies through personalized learning , creating an environmentally conscious curriculum and professional certification, Professional Mentoring and Coaching and creating entrepreneurship -based innovations. Meanwhile, Prof. Abdul Razak Abdul Hadi said that, "The lecturer conveyed the current issue . UniKL is a technical university . 40% theory and 60% practice, 3 hours face to face each week with students in 1 class, for 14 weeks. In practice, the lecturer shares and explains the material carried out in the first 60 minutes. After that, students will be given a case study ”. he said
The Up Grading of the FEB lecturer learning method today was attended by the Deputy Chancellor for general and financial fields, the Head of the Development and Learning Institute and Quality Assurance, and lecturers within the FEB UPNVJ environment. This activity was followed by a discussion with the participants present.
