HumasUPNVJ - SARS-CoV-2 is a respiratory syndrome disease caused by the Corona Virus which attacks the respiratory tract ranging from mild to severe. Symptoms are fever, cough and shortness of breath, are acute, and are usually patient. Based on data from the ministry of health (KEMENKES), there was an increase in patients infected with the corona virus (Covid-19) totaling 686 people as of March 24 2020. This increase also occurred in patients who died, namely 55 people. However, the number of recovered patients has not increased.

In preventing the transmission of the virus and fully supporting the government's directives regarding social distancing and work from home , according to circular letter number 25/UN61.0/SE/2020, from 17 to 31 March 2020 the lecturers will carry out the tridharma duties from home ( work from home ). In implementing the tridharma for teaching, an electronic learning system is used which can be accessed via the https://elearning40.upnvj.ac.id/ page or through other supporting learning media. During distance education students are presented with various learning media techniques such as video conferences , e-books or other electronic materials, online quizzes, discussion forums, chats . However, the whole lecture routine is a bit of a hassle for students because some conditions require separate face-to-face meetings, but due to the focus and activeness and consequently students can slowly get used to remote teaching.

In terms of research and community service, we, who are members of a team of lecturers from the computer science faculty at the Jakarta Veterans National Development University, namely Ruth Mariana Bungawadu, Rio Wirawan, Desta Sandiya Prasvita, also carry out these activities from home. In our community service activities with the theme of e-marketing for SMEs that produce pottery as a craft and characteristic of the Serang Banten area, we carry out activities and coordinate with an instant messaging application called WhatsApp . Through whatsapp, community service activities are carried out in coordination between the lecturers and students involved. As for coordination, the first is coordinating activities that will be carried out at the first opportunity after controlling the transmission of the corona virus, the second is coordinating in making short storyboard clips and design infographics to introduce pottery Serang Banten which will be included in social media, the third is coordinating with local SMEs to obtain data - the necessary data, the fourth is to update the catalog in the online shop , the fifth is to update and post on social media to improve the image of the SMEs.

In terms of research, a similar thing was carried out, namely through the use of an instant messaging application, WhatsApp . In using the instant messaging application, coordination is carried out between lecturers and students involved regarding research that can be carried out. The research coordination will focus on creating a website for UKM Serang Banten Pottery Small Industry Centers. As for coordination around the first is coordinating in making the website navigation structure, the second is coordinating around the layout or design of the website appearance, the third is coordinating with local SMEs to obtain the required data about SMEs or other products, the fourth is coordinating around banner and button designs and pictures. the images contained on the website later, the fifth coordinates regarding the contents of the content that will be loaded on the website .

Tridharma activities are still carried out while working at home as a fulfillment of lecturer obligations and as an effort to prevent the spread of the Covid virus. Hopefully the spread of the Covid virus can be controlled soon and handled properly for those who have been affected. Stay Healthy.
