HumasUPNVJ - The pandemic is not an obstacle in producing creative works from students, as did Mila Nur Husnul Hotimah and Alif Rafi Fadillah, who are always looking for opportunities to produce works. Because of their enthusiasm, Mila and Arafad won 1st place in the General Category Video Blog Contest organized by the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Activities (SKK Migas) and Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) with a total prize of 15,000,000.

SKK Migas and PSC Contractors held journalism competitions for journalists from print, online , radio and television media. Apart from holding a journalistic work competition, a work competition was also held for the general category in the form of writing and vlogs. This competition has the theme, "Upstream Oil and Gas Industry Efforts to reach 1 Million BOPD and 12 BSCFD amid the Covid-19 Pandemic" with a total of 389 participants.

The UPNVJ Public Relations team had the opportunity to conduct an online interview with Mila. In the interview, Mila, representing the team, briefly explained the activities she and the team participated in, “Every year I have a mission to produce at least one piece of work. Out of my comfort zone, which usually only takes part in short film or documentary competitions, this time I was challenged to take part in a journalistic work competition, in which participants came from all over Indonesia. Mostly , journalists and the media," he explained.

"My team and I first conducted research on the internet, because we are still new to the upstream oil and gas industry in Indonesia. As usual, when I work, I want to elevate my hometown, namely Pandeglang. It turns out that in my city there is still oil and gas potential to be managed, but no investors have yet looked at it. Finally in 2011, PT. Lunding from Switzerland conducts oil and gas exploration in Pandeglang Regency. However, there is no further news until now. The ups and downs of the activity preparation process are of course a lot, starting from pre-production, shooting and post- production, in every process that we go through, we live and enjoy it," he continued

"My hope is that in the future my team and I will be more enthusiastic about creating more works for this beloved country, a message to friends, Let's be productive and work, a pandemic is not an obstacle for us to stop working," concluded Mila hopefully.

Because at this time it was still during the Covid-19 pandemic, this activity was held online .
