HumasUPNVJ - dr. Ibnu representing approximately 30 doctors explained the vaccination process that was held at UPN Veteran Jakarta in the context of Social Service Activities in collaboration with KEMENDIKBUD RISTEK to Commemorate the 76th Indonesian Independence Day, "The vaccination center held at UPNVJ is the second time it has been held with different partners. This time UPNVJ is collaborating with KEMENDIKBUD RISTEK, there is no difference in the implementation process from some time ago, which is still ensuring the vaccination participants have registered online first, after that name calling and then carrying out screening such as checking body temperature, blood pressure and history disease, then if you have fulfilled the screening process the patients are welcome to get vaccinated. The vaccines provided by UPNVJ and KEMENDIKBUD RISTEK are Sinovac and Astrazeneca," explained dr. Ibn.
"From online registration some time before, a total of approximately one thousand vaccination applicants were recorded. As in general, after vaccination, the reactions you get will vary, mild local AEFIs (Post-Immunization Follow-up Events) can be in the form of pain, redness and swelling in the area of the body that has an infection after being given immunization. For efforts to handle AEFIs, UPNVJ has prepared several facilities if this possibility occurs, such as a special room, qualified medical equipment and an ambulance if needed. But thank God, today there are no patients with AEFI," he continued.
"This AEFI cannot be generalized, because AEFI does not only occur during vaccines, but also from some drugs there will definitely be an effect, depending on the body condition of the vaccine/drug recipient. To avoid AEFI, all we need is a fit body condition and consumption. healthy food”, concluded dr. Ibnu in his interview with the UPNVJ Public Relations team.
