HumasUPNVJ - Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) again held the Covid-19 Vaccination. This time UPNVJ collaborated with the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek) which was held at UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus, on Wednesday (18/08/21).
The aim of the activity with a target of 1,000 participants from students, lecturers and the general public is so that the vaccination program launched by the government can be implemented more quickly.
"This time the vaccine was held again aimed at the UPNVJ extended family and the general public in order to increase herd immunity and commemorate the 76th year of Indonesian Independence Day . The goal is that the government's vaccination process can be faster and monitored enthusiastically by quite a lot of local people, hopefully everything can be facilitated properly," said UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP monitoring the implementation of the vaccine at UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus.
Erna said that at the implementation of the vaccination, 1,000 doses of vaccine were provided according to the quota provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture, with the Astra Zeneca and Sinovac (CORONAVAC) vaccine types.
People who wish to get vaccinated can first register online via the Google Form link. However, people who attend in person without registering online are still being served.
Direct interview with Cilandak Mundari Sub-District Head, SIP., M.Sc accompanied by Danramil and Cinere Police at Pondok Labu UPNVJ Campus, South Jakarta, Wednesday (18/08/21)
In line with the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Cilandak Mundari Sub-District Head, SIP., M.Si accompanied by Danramil and the Cinere Police said this activity was an effort to speed up the community vaccination process.
"UPNVJ can be a model for other campuses to take part in the same activities so that our target can be achieved soon. I express my highest appreciation to the Chancellor of UPNVJ for helping to facilitate this well. It is monitored that the vaccine process is running smoothly," said Mundari.
"I hope that the next target for the Cilandak area is to reopen a vaccine center like this. It is hoped that we can all continue to work together to accelerate public vaccination," added Mundari.
Health worker coordinator dr. Ibnu said there were approximately 30 health workers involved in the activity.
"This vaccination center held at UPNVJ is the second time it has been held with different partners. This time UPNVJ is working with the Ministry of Education and Culture," said Dr. Ibnu.
Ibnu said there was no difference in the implementation process from previous vaccination activities. Vaccination participants who have registered online are called for screening such as checking body temperature, blood pressure and medical history.
Dr. Ibnu, a representative of health workers implementing vaccines at UPNVJ's Pondok Labu Campus, South Jakarta, Wednesday (18/08/21).
"If participants meet the requirements, they will be welcome to get vaccinated," he said.
Related to Post-immunization Follow-up Events (AEFI), Dr. Ibnu said it could be a mild local impact in the form of pain, redness and swelling in the area of the body that had an infection after being given immunization.
"For efforts to handle AEFIs, UPNVJ has prepared several facilities if this possibility occurs, such as a special room, qualified medical equipment and an ambulance if needed. But thank God, today there are no patients with AEFI," he added.
According to Dr. Ibnu, everyone will experience AEFI. The impact of AEFIs from one person to another can also be very different.
"This AEFI cannot be generalized, because AEFI does not only occur during vaccines but also from several drugs. AEFI depends on the body condition of the recipient of the vaccine or drug. To avoid AEFI, all we need is a fit body condition and consumption of healthy food," he said.
