HumasUPNVJ - In order to respond to youth problems, including during the COVID-19 Pandemic like this, BKKBN has developed a Planned Generation Program (GenRe). The GenRe program is a program developed by the BKKBN in the formation of national character among the younger generation (adolescents), which is a forum for youth in developing the nation's youth character, through understanding maturation at marriage age, preparing for family life for adolescents, as well as education on reproductive health. So that adolescents can avoid early marriage, pre-marital sex, drug abuse and are able to carry out quality education levels, have a planned tiered career, and marry with full planning according to the reproductive health cycle.
The South Jakarta Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control Sub-agency (PPAPP Sub-agency) on June 28 2021 opened registration for the GenRe ambassador election with the theme BELIEVE ( Brave, Intelligence and Creative ). Furthermore, on July 17 2021 the semi-finalist audition for the 2021 South Jakarta GenRe Ambassador Selection was held which included an interview test, English, general knowledge and demography. Five UPN Veteran Jakarta students who are UPN Veteran Jakarta PIK R Patriot administrators under the mentored lecturer Mrs. Chahya Kharin Herbawani, S.Keb., Bd, MKM qualified for the semi-finalist stage of the Top 10 Boys and Top 10 Girls of South Jakarta Genre Ambassadors. They are Andika Heri Susanto (S-1 Political Science 2020), Kabil Kohar (S1-International Relations 2020), Mikha Tiffani (S1-Public Health, 2020), Wahyuningtyas Putri (S1-Nutrition, 2020), Bebi Ayu Wulandari (S1 -Nursing, 2019), and Selvina Indah (S1 Medicine, 2018). They included 20 participants with 10 women and 10 men who met the criteria to undergo quarantine. The South Jakarta GenRe Ambassador Selection Quarantine was carried out with provision of various materials on how to become an ambassador, public speaking , psychology, engagement , English, pride in gold and grooming .
Furthermore, on August 14 2021 the Grand Final Election of the 2021 South Jakarta Administrative City Planning Generation Ambassador was held. All representatives from PIK R Patriot UPN Veteran Jakarta won various titles. The following are the winners and the titles won.
Kabil Kohar, Student of the International Relations Study Program Undergraduate Program Class of 2020 Coordinator of Internal Resource Management PIKR Patriot UPNVJ, won the title of South Jakarta GenRe Ambassador, Champion 3 Putera 2021 and will advance to the 2021 DKI Jakarta GenRe Ambassador event
“ Of course I am proud and did not expect to win this event. I also got a lot of experience from participating in this event, I also got a lot of knowledge related to Generation Planning, so that I can invite young people to get to know the Generation Planning program in the future. And now, I'm ready to continue the fight for the DKI GenRe Ambassador event. I ask for support from all parties from the UPN Veteran Jakarta academic community, I hope I can carry the good name of PIK R Patriot UPN Veteran Jakarta. ”
Selvina Indah Permatasari Hutauruk , Student of the Medical Study Program Undergraduate Program Class of 2018, Coordinator of Information and Counseling at PIKR Patriot UPNVJ, won the title of South Jakarta GenRe Ambassador Champion 3 Puteri 2021, will advance to the 2021 DKI Jakarta GenRe Ambassador event
"I didn't expect to get the title of 3 women's champion. Even though I followed and underwent quarantine online and was far from other non-ambassadors, it did not undermine my enthusiasm to give my best in terms of goodness for youth together with them. Bebi Ayu Wulandari , 2019 Undergraduate Nursing Study Program Student, Deputy Head of PIKR Patriot UPNVJ, won the title of 2021 Puteri Social Media Inspirator GenRe Ambassador
"I did a lot of preparation and spent a lot of time, effort and money. What's more, I was participating in the committee for the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, plus I was practicing basic nursing and maternity clinics, which made me skilled in managing my time and thoughts. However, with a lot of time, energy and even money that I have spent, there are many experiences and lessons that can be taken and be grateful for. One of them is, to make the most of my time. My hopes are very much, one of which is that I hope I can continue to do positive, innovative activities and creative for teenagers especially those who can spread the benefits of goodness. Most importantly, I hope, that I can realize the main task of being a GenRe Ambassador, which is to be an inspiration for teenagers and the whole community to be able to avoid risky sexual behavior, early marriage and drug abuse. Wahyuningtyas Putri , Student of the Nutrition Study Program Class of 2020, Member of the UPNVJ Patriot PIKR Information and Counseling Division, won the title of 2021 South Jakarta Puteri Friendship GenRe Ambassador.

Mikha Tiffani , Public Health Study Program Class of 2020, Field Coor of HPD PIKR Patriot UPNVJ, won the title of 2021 Women 's Best Public Speaking GenRe Ambassador
