HumasUPNVJ - Chancellor of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP said UPNVJ as the State Defense Campus is committed to running an education program in accordance with President Joko Widodo's directions in a speech delivered in front of the MPR/DPR/DPD on Monday (16/8/2021).

"Responding to the President's direction, UPNVJ as the State Defense Campus is committed to implementing programs that encourage professionalism and strive to improve service quality to stakeholders," Erna said in her remarks at the 76th Commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day at UPNVJ which was held virtually, Tuesday (17/8/2021).

Erna said that in a speech before members of the MPR/DPR/DPD, President Joko Widodo mentioned four things related to personnel spending that would become the concern of all UPNVJ academics.

These four things are increasing professionalism, increasing integrity and productivity, providing public services, and carrying out bureaucratic reforms in the context of improving services to the community and increasing the efficiency of personnel spending in accordance with digitalization.

"That will be our reference. It will not be easy and light because we have to make changes that may not be comfortable for some people," he said.

However, Erna said that all UPNVJ academics must be able and have the courage and sincerity to move out of their comfort zone so far.
