Release of 52 UPNVJ Humanity Concerned Students by the Chancellor

HumasUPNVJ - In order to carry out part of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology's Independent Campus Program, namely UPN Veteran Jakarta Cares for Humanity, UPNVJ implemented the UPNVJ Cares for Humanity Program in Depok City and gave mandates to 52 students and 10 lecturers to be directly involved in this program .

UPNVJ held a discharge meeting for students participating in the UPNVJ Cares for Humanity program online which was held on Friday 15 October 2021 which was attended by the Chancellor, Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Head of LP3M, Head of AKPK Bureau, Deputy Deans for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Head of Learning , Coorbid. Academic and Student Affairs, 52 participants and 10 supervisors.

"This is a valuable journey for younger students, hopefully everyone can prepare themselves and carry out this program optimally so that it can be of benefit to many parties. And most importantly, hopefully this will become a follow-up program for UPNVJ and the Depok City Health Office," said Erna Hernawati in her remarks

The Head of the Depok City Health Office, represented by Dr. Zakiah as the head of the public health sector thanked UPNVJ for giving the mandate to the Depok health office, "Thank you because we have been given the mandate to be able to contribute directly to UPNVJ, as the Chancellor has said, I hope our cooperation can be well established and students "UPNVJ students can generate a lot of benefits," he said

The UPNVJ program that cares for humanity, which has been agreed upon with the Depok City Office, is divided into four, including:

1) Accelerating the handling of the stunting problem

2) Open defecation free ODF (Healthy latrines)

3) Increased germas (Covid-19)

4) Changing community behavior patterns and habits (PHBS)

UPNVJ's activities concerned with humanity were attended by 52 students, consisting of 35 students from the Faculty of Health and 17 students from the Faculty of Medicine. This activity will start Monday 18 October to 23 December 2021.
