HumasUPNVJ - On the same occasion when making a visit, the Chancellor of UPNVJ accompanied by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law had the opportunity to visit the newest applied cellular and small molecule therapy unit at RSPAD. (07/21)

The Indonesian Army Cells Cure Center (ICCC) is the newest innovative small molecule and applied cellular therapy unit, which has been developed at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital in collaboration with Professor Fandrich, Director of the Clinic of Apllied Cellular Medicine Germany, with the concept of private treatment to cure and prevent the development of disease and part of the treatment options. This ICCC is a Center of Excellence in the form of clinics and laboratories with the latest therapeutic concepts that coordinate National and International academic bodies as important advances in biomedical research and development in Indonesia. Until now it has only been developed in Germany and Indonesia, especially the Gatot Soebroto Ditkesad Army Hospital. In this clinic there are also three types of products that will be produced, namely:

a. Dendritic Cells (DCs) as a cancer treatment.

b. Regenerative Cells (REMs) as a treatment for heart and blood vessels and brain disorders.

c. Regulatory Cells (TOMs) as a treatment for autoimmune diseases (Diabetes Mellitus, Lupus, Erymatosus, etc.).

The cells produced for therapy are autologous white blood cells that are separated from a patient, programmed, and grown in a laboratory and reinjected into the same patient who donated the cells . These cell products consist of isomatic blood cells which are not "Steam Cells" but have regenerative properties like "Steam Cells". This is something to be proud of because the Central Army Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Subroto is the UPNVJ's main teaching hospital and the Indonesia Army Cells Cure Center is the only one in Indonesia.
