HumasUPNVJ - Thursday (12/11/21), UPNVJ had visiting university guests from eastern Indonesia, University of Khairun Ternate. This working visit was related to the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) mechanism for filling in Lecturers' BKD, especially the Faculty of Medicine. The event was attended by the Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta, Dr. Erna Hernawati, AK, CPMA, CA CGOP, Deputy Chancellor II UPNVJ, Dr. Prasetyo Hadi, Deputy Chancellor II at Khairun University Ternate, Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Hasyim, SE, MSi and their staff. The FGD event was hosted by Dr. Lidya Prinpta Surbakti AK, M.Sc, CA as Head of Learning Center for LP3M UPNVJ.

In her remarks, Erna hoped that this meeting could become a forum for collaboration in terms of higher education management, "Through this meeting, I hope UPNVJ can learn to work together while looking for how IKU targets from the ministry can be achieved. Because UPNVJ is similar to Khairun University, the difference is only in a few faculties. It is very good to collaborate”, he said

Erna also said that recently UPNVJ had obtained Superior accreditation for the Faculty of Medicine, so making UPNVJ the destination for Khairun University's visit was appropriate, "Thank God UPNVJ obtained superior accreditation for two study programs, namely Bachelor of Medicine and Professions, hopefully we can share the story of how FK's efforts were able to get the Superior status. With this status, at least we will add capacity, so that we can assist health workers according to government programs. Currently we are still reviewing whether the human resources and infrastructure have met or not the capacity, "he said

Erna added that UPNVJ itself has a special strategy so that lecturer performance can be monitored. How can this BKD become a tool so that study programs can fulfill their accreditation and universities can fulfill their higher education accreditation. We have a special strategy so that the lecturer's performance is controlled. So that lecturers not only obtain lecturer certification but also guarantee that their study program accreditation is achieved and university accreditation is also encouraged," he concluded.

Meanwhile, on the same occasion, Hasyim expressed his appreciation to all of the UPNVJ community who had welcomed the arrival of Khairun University in an extraordinary way, "Today we want to share, discuss with UPNVJ especially the Faculty of Medicine and we thank all the leaders at UPNVJ. . I am touched by the welcome given to us. Hopefully Allah SWT will repay all of this.”, he concluded.

The FGD event was then followed by a visit to the existing facilities at the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine.
