HumasUPNVJ - In order to increase cooperation in the field of higher education tridharma and collaboration in the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) program, UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) signed an MoU with the University of Selangor (UNISEL), Malaysia.
Technically the meeting with UNISEL was carried out online and the signing was carried out in person by Dr. Erna Hernawati, AK.., CPMA., CA., CGOP. UPNVJ Chancellor in Nusantara Room 1 of the Rectorate building, on Wednesday (01/12/21).
From UNISEL, the signing was carried out directly by Prof. Dr. Md Sidin Bin A. Ishak (Naib President and Vice Chancellor), apart from UPNVJ, Dr. Arfianto Fahmi, ST., MT Rector of the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology (ITTP).
In practice, both parties hope that the collaboration will go well in strengthening relations between universities and that several other activities can be carried out even in the midst of a pandemic.
In particular Dr. UPNVJ Chancellor Erna in this collaboration hopes that in the future this existing collaboration can encourage even wider activities, especially collaboration in the MBKM program.
"It is hoped that not only lecturers will be able to participate but also students are expected to be able to conduct student exchanges there. I also hope that the representatives of the faculties/Deans of the Faculties can combine curricula, such as collaborating on several courses between UPNVJ and UNISEL, developing study programs, and so on," said Erna.
Furthermore, the ITTP also welcomed the signing of the collaboration and this became a form of ITTP globalization. ITTP hopes that this activity will run well.
"Activities such as inbound/outbound mobility programs, research, and other activities can be carried out optimally," said Dr. Arfianto Rector of ITTP.
ITTP also agreed with the UPNVJ Chancellor's statement in which universities were also encouraged to cooperate not only in the national sphere but also in the international sphere.
As a follow up, it is planned that the meeting will be continued with the Deans to discuss plans for cooperation programs and discussion of collaborations that are in accordance with needs, especially those related to the MBKM program.
