UPNVJ and Pondok Labu Subdistrict Agree on Community Empowerment Cooperation

 

Public RelationsUPNVJ - National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with Pondok Labu Village.

The activity, which took place in the Nusantara Room, UPNVJ Rectorate Building on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, was attended by the ranks of the village apparatus, the UPNVJ LPPM team, and community representatives.

This FGD aims to identify priority issues in the Pondok Labu area while exploring potential collaboration in the fields of community service, applied research, and community empowerment.

"This is a form of UPNVJ's commitment to be present in the community and be part of the solution, both through simple steps and strategic approaches," said UPNVJ Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus.

This collaboration is part of the UPN Community Territory program, which is a community service scheme to create an Impactful Campus.

On that occasion, the official PKS document was signed as a form of legality and commitment of both parties in establishing a strategic partnership based on the Tridharma of Higher Education.

This collaboration is expected to have a real impact on improving the quality of life of the Pondok Labu community through academic and participatory approaches.
