Public Relations UPNVJ - In a series of academic visits to Malaysia, students of the Master of Law Program, Faculty of Law, National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) carried out literature study activities at the Tun Abdul Razak (TAR) Library, Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
This activity, which took place on April 28, 2025, aims to broaden students' academic horizons by studying international legal references.
The TAR Library is known as one of the most comprehensive legal literature centers in Malaysia. Its collection includes books, scholarly journals, and international law databases from various world legal systems, such as common law, civil law, Islamic law, and transnational law.
During this visit, UPNVJ students gained full access to explore sources relevant to their respective research focuses.
The focus of the literature study is focused on a number of key areas, such as comparative law, international trade law, human rights, and global environmental law. Students also take this opportunity to explore primary and secondary legal references that are difficult to access domestically.
In addition to exploring physical collections, students also receive assistance from the Faculty of Law UiTM regarding the use of digital catalogs and online resources available internationally. This activity is part of the strategy to strengthen academics and internationalize research at the postgraduate level.
Through this literature study, students are expected to gain stronger theoretical and methodological provisions in compiling their theses, while also fostering a spirit of globally competitive research.
