Public Relations of UPNVJ - The National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) is again holding the 2025 Independent Selection Examination for State Universities in the West Region (SMMPTN Barat). The exam will be held from 17 to 21 June 2025 at the UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus, South Jakarta.

In this year's implementation, UPNVJ facilitated 1,016 participants divided into nine sessions. The exam was held using the Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK) system, supported by 120 computers spread across three classrooms.

"UPNVJ is once again the location for the SMMPTN Barat Computer-Based Written Exam. We maximize preparations in terms of facilities—room comfort, computer units, readiness of supervisors and technicians, to electricity and internet connection," said Dr. Henry Binsar, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of UPNVJ, while reviewing the exam location, Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

"We ensure that everything runs smoothly to minimize technical disruptions during the exam," he continued.

Dr. Henry said that the comfort and smoothness of the exam process is a priority, and participants are expected to be able to take the exam without technical obstacles or obstacles from the officers.

From a security perspective, the committee also implemented file verification and inspection using metal detectors to prevent potential fraud.

UPNVJ New Student Admissions Coordinator, Fajar Nugroho, said that the implementation of the exam involved various campus elements.

"We involve supervisors, cleaning staff, security, and the Public Relations team to support the smooth running of the process as a whole," said Fajar.
