HumasUPNVJ - Secretary of the Independent Selection for Entrance to State Universities in the West Region (SMMPTN-West), Prof. Dr. Supriyanto, made a direct visit to the SMMPTN-West Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) implementation center at the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta, Wednesday, June 18, 2025. This visit aims to ensure that all stages of the exam run smoothly, orderly, and in accordance with the established protocols.

"UPNVJ has shown excellent readiness as the host of the UTBK implementation. The committee's coordination went smoothly, starting from the facilities and infrastructure of the exam room, the participant registration flow, and the supervision system implemented during the exam process and the participants were able to take the exam in an orderly and comfortable manner," said Prof. Dr. Supriyanto in his statement on the sidelines of the review.

UTBK SMMPTN-West 2025 at UPNVJ was attended by thousands of participants from various regions. The exam was divided into several sessions and used a strict supervision system to maintain the integrity of the selection.

UPNVJ as a member of the SMMPTN-West consortium continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting a fair and transparent independent selection process.

UPNVJ Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm said that in the implementation of UTBK SMMPTN-West, UPNVJ is committed to creating a safe, fair, and transparent examination environment for all participants of UTBK SMMPTN West 2025.

"We greatly appreciate the trust given to UPNVJ as the location of the West SMMPTN UTBK Center. We continue to be committed to providing the best service for participants in accordance with the established standard procedures," said Prof. Venus.

In addition to monitoring the implementation of the exam, the Secretary of SMMPTN-West also had a dialogue with participants and local committees. Many participants expressed their appreciation for the exam facilities and the committee's services which were considered friendly and informative.

Prof. Dr. Supriyanto said that all UTBK results will be processed centrally with a system that guarantees objectivity and transparency, and the selection results will be announced according to the official schedule on the page https://smmptnbarat.id.

The implementation of UTBK is an important stage in the independent selection process, and is a determining factor for thousands of prospective new students to continue their higher education at their dream state universities.
