Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) successfully held the Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK) SMMPTN Barat 2025 until the last day, Saturday, June 21, 2025, without any significant obstacles. As part of the consortium of 28 State Universities (PTN) SMMPTN Barat, UPNVJ demonstrated full readiness in technical, infrastructure, and supervision aspects during the selection process.

The exam took place at the Pondok Labu Campus, South Jakarta, with more than 1,000 participants. The implementation was divided into two sessions each day since June 17 and ended today.

UPNVJ Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., appreciated all parties involved in the smooth implementation of UTBK.

"We are very grateful because the implementation of UTBK SMMPTN Barat 2025 from start to finish went well and without significant obstacles. This is the result of the hard work of the entire team—from the committee, supervisors, IT team, security, and participants who maintained integrity and order," said Prof. Venus.

"For us, university entrance selection is not just an administrative process, but a form of UPNVJ's commitment to creating access to quality, honest, and transparent higher education," he continued.

UPNVJ ensures that all participants follow the specified procedures, starting from verifying identity documents, exam room entry protocols, to reporting at the end of the session. Supervision is carried out strictly in collaboration with the campus' internal team.

"We uphold the principles of transparency and accountability in the implementation of this independent selection. All processes follow the standards set by the BKS PTN Barat consortium," said Prof. Venus.

Participants were on time and followed the procedures in an orderly manner. Based on the committee's report, the attendance rate remained high until the last session. Most participants conveyed positive experiences, especially related to the comfort of the facilities, clarity of information, and friendliness of the supervisors.

The successful implementation of the last day of SMMPTN Barat 2025 at UPNVJ confirms the campus' commitment to providing inclusive and quality higher education services. For the participants, this is not the end, but the beginning of their academic journey.
