Public Relations of UPNVJ – The National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a Briefing and Submission of Ministerial Decrees and Statement Letters for Carrying Out Duties (SPMT) for Prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) in 2024, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium.
This activity is a follow-up to the stipulation of the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology concerning the Appointment of CPNS within the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, especially those placed at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
On that occasion, the Vice Chancellor for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Netti Herawati, M.Sc., directly handed over copies of the Ministerial Decree and SPMT to the 147 CPNS. This handover symbolizes the beginning of the term of duty and responsibility of the CPNS as part of the UPNVJ family.
In addition to submitting official documents, Prof. Netti also provided supplies and motivation to the CPNS. She emphasized the importance of building a professional work ethic, high integrity, and commitment to public service, in order to become superior and dedicated ASN.
"Being part of a higher education institution is not just about working, but also about contributing to the future of the nation. Be the best employee, who not only carries out tasks, but also adds value to the institution," said Prof. Netti to the CPNS.
As part of the adaptation and character building process of ASN, CPNS will undergo a three-day university-level orientation and briefing period, which includes an introduction to the organizational structure, work system, and core ASN values. After that, it will be continued with briefing at the faculty level for six months, which focuses on technical training according to their respective work units.
This activity is an important initial momentum for CPNS to get to know the UPNVJ work culture while preparing themselves to carry out their roles and responsibilities as civil servants in the field of higher education.
