HumasUPNVJ - The launch of the Integrity Zone at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (FT UPNVJ) on Wednesday, June 12, 2025, is a real symbol of the collective spirit of building a clean, professional, and corruption-free educational institution.
This activity received broad support, not only from the UPNVJ academic community, but also from external stakeholders such as government officials, the TNI, Polri, and community leaders in the campus environment.
UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, emphasized that bureaucratic reform is a top priority in university governance. He also said that the establishment of the UPN Community Center (UCT) is part of the campus' commitment to actively and sustainably strengthen relations with the community.
"This Integrity Zone is part of our efforts to improve the campus bureaucratic system and culture as a whole. There are six areas of change that we are focusing on, starting from HR management, strengthening supervision, to improving the quality of public services. Collaboration with the community is the key to this process," said Prof. Venus.
The presence of the Head of Limo Village, Danramil, Cinere Police Chief, representatives of Puspenerbad, and youth figures from Limo District at the event showed that efforts to build integrity are not only an internal responsibility, but also a collaborative effort across sectors.
Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ir. Muchamad Oktaviandri, also emphasized the importance of active participation of all elements of the faculty in realizing the integrity zone in a concrete manner.
"We want to create an academic environment that is not only academically superior, but also upholds ethical values and integrity in every process," he said.
As a form of joint commitment, all lecturers and education staff of FT UPNVJ also signed the Integrity Pact. This signing is an important foundation in building a professional, transparent, and excellent public service-oriented campus governance.
