UPNVJ Partners with US Professors in One-on-One Coaching Sessions on Scientific Publications

UPNVJ Public Relations – In a continuous effort to encourage the improvement of the quality of research and scientific publications, the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) held a One-on-One Coaching and Consultation activity with international research expert, Prof. Joachim Voss, Ph.D., RN, ACRN, from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, United States.

This coaching activity lasted for three days, from July 8 to 10, 2025, and was a continuation of the Intensive Workshop: Effective Writing for International Journal Publication, also previously initiated by LPPM. The one-on-one sessions were specifically designed to provide personal guidance to UPNVJ lecturers and external participants in the process of preparing scientific articles for publication in reputable international journals.

In each session, participants had the opportunity to discuss their manuscripts intensively with Prof. Voss. The coaching focused on strengthening arguments, writing structure, and effective publication strategies to ensure manuscripts meet international scientific publishing standards.

More than just a technical consultation, this activity provides a reflective space for academics to review the quality of their scientific work with a professional approach and based on global standards. LPPM hopes this activity will act as a catalyst for encouraging high-quality scientific publications from lecturers and researchers, both within UPNVJ and nationally.

The presence of international academics like Prof. Voss demonstrates UPNVJ's commitment to creating a collaborative, competitive, and impactful research ecosystem. Going forward, UPNVJ will continue to offer adaptive capacity-building programs focused on developing superior academic quality.
