UPNVJ Public Relations – The National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) officially announced that 754 prospective new students passed the UPNVJ Independent Selection (SEMA) Wave 2.
Prospective students who are declared to have passed are required to take a health test as part of data verification today, Friday, August 1, 2025, from 08:00 WIB to 15:00 WIB.
Fajar Nugroho, UPNVJ's 2025 New Student Admissions Coordinator, stated that the implementation of this health test was prepared with thorough preparation in accordance with previous penmaru routes so that the health test procedure ran smoothly.
This test includes two main examinations:
1. Drug-free test with six parameters:
– Amphetamine (AMP), Methamphetamine (MET), Cocaine (COC), Morphine/Opiate (MOP), Marijuana (THC), and Benzodiazepine (BZD). Candidates who test positive for COC or THC cannot proceed with the verification process.
2. Color blindness test specifically for prospective students in the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Pharmacy, and Bachelor of Biology programs.
If declared color blind, prospective students cannot continue the new student admission process based on the results of the UPNVJ SEMA Wave 2 of 2025 in that study program and will be offered entry to a study program that does not require passing the color blindness test.
*Implementation Procedure*
For prospective students who live outside JABODETABEK, they are allowed to take the test directly at the nearest Government Hospital / RSUD / BNN, but which has six parameters.
For prospective students in Jabodetabek, the health test is carried out at the UPNVJ Limo Campus, MERce Building, Depok with a neat and scheduled registration process.

-The cost of the drug-free test is Rp. 275,000,-
-Additional fee for color blindness test** (only for Faculty of Medicine): Rp. 25,000,-
-Payment can be made via BNI, BSI, BTN, or Mandiri, and proof of payment must be brought when registering for the health test (penmaru.upnvj.ac.id)
- Test implementation flow:
1. Take a queue number
2. Verify payment & registration card
3. Registration of attendance list & examination form
4. Initial examination: blood pressure, pulse, body temperature
5. Collecting urine container & taking sample in toilet
6. Doctor's examination (narcotics & color blindness)
7. Receive the Examination Results Letter
8. Finish uploading documents and go home
Fikhrianti, an alumnus of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Jakarta, one of the prospective students accepted in the UPNVJ Wave 2 SEMA selection, when interviewed by UPNVJ Public Relations, expressed her happiness at being accepted into her favorite study program, International Relations, "I am very grateful because I can be a part of UPNVJ. I chose UPNVJ from the beginning when I registered for UTBK-SNBT, but thank God my fortune turned out to be in this Wave 2 SEMA. Whatever it is, I am grateful, hopefully at UPNVJ I can continue to develop into a proud student of the State Defense campus, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta," she concluded with emotion.
Anti, as she is familiarly known, also emphasized that the health test procedures at UPNVJ were very well-organized and smooth. "The procedures were very clear because we had previously received information from social media and on the day itself, we were assisted by officers," she said.
