UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) officially inaugurated Dr. Asropi, SIP., M.Sc., as Head of the Bureau of Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation (AKK) on Tuesday (August 19, 2025). This inauguration is a strategic step to strengthen academic, student, and cooperation governance, in line with the rector's vision of making UPNVJ a leading university.
Dr. Asropi has over two decades of experience in research and higher education. He began his career as a researcher at the Institute of Public Administration in 1998, before becoming a lecturer in 2012. He served as Deputy Director I for Academic Affairs for four years and Head of the Applied Masters Program until 2016, before joining UPNVJ in 2025 as Head of the AKK Bureau.
In his remarks, Dr. Asropi emphasized his commitment to supporting the rector's vision and mission by strengthening academic governance, improving student services, and expanding collaboration with various parties. "We will optimize processes in the Academic and Student Affairs (AKK) area to support UPNVJ as a leading university," he said.
He also emphasized the importance of collaboration, innovation, and creativity as pillars of progress. "Collaboration is key to driving UPNVJ in a better direction. We will focus on data consolidation and cross-unit coordination to create significant transformation," he added.
UPNVJ, known for its commitment to national development values and its Veteran spirit, continues to strive to improve the quality of its educational services. Dr. Asropi's inauguration is expected to accelerate the achievement of these goals by strengthening collaborative networks and providing optimal services to students.
