The second day of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) series at the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (PATRIBERA 2025) featured renowned content creator Andovi da Lopez as a resource person. Presenting a topic titled "Speaking Through Work: Expression, Values, and Hope," Andovi motivated 4,800 new UPNVJ students to dare to start, find a clear foundation, and make creativity a vehicle for aspirations.
According to Andovi, freedom of expression is everyone's right, but it must be accompanied by a strong purpose.
"Friends, if you want to create freely, go ahead, but what's the foundation? Ask yourself why you're creating," he said. Andovi emphasized that work created solely for popularity or views will lose its meaning if it lacks a clear foundation.
Andovi also presented a mathematical perspective to boost enthusiasm. "Logically, just starting already puts you ahead of thousands of people who don't," he said. Andovi encouraged students to focus on positive outcomes, even though the chance of failure remains high, because the process is an essential part of learning.
For Andovi, art also serves as a means of self-development. "When you create, the first person to hear it is yourself. It trains and shapes you," he explained.
Closing the session, Andovi advised students to utilize their college years as the best time to learn, make friends, and explore their potential. "Make the most of this time, because it will be a lifelong memory," he concluded.
