The inauguration, which took place at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, is part of UPNVJ's efforts to strengthen governance, improve academic quality, and encourage transformation towards a leading university.
UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm., in his remarks emphasized the strategic role of the two bureaus in overseeing the university's academic, student, planning, financial, and governance aspects. "Since becoming a state university, UPNVJ has undergone a significant transformation. One of our achievements is winning second place nationally in the Public Service Agency (BLU) Key Performance Indicator (IKU) category. This is a testament to the commitment and cooperation of the entire academic community," he said. Prof. Venus added that UPNVJ's transformation is not only in the academic aspect, but also in governance and public services. In 2024, UPNVJ's financial report again achieved the Unqualified Opinion (WTP) predicate without significant notes. Strengthening the integrity zone is also a priority in bureaucratic reform. "In our 11th year as a state university, our orientation is to improve the competency of graduates so that they are quickly absorbed in the workforce. The AKK and PKU Bureaus play an important role in the development of practical laboratories, academic services, and 'informative' status for public information disclosure," he said.
The Head of the PKU Bureau, Dr. Ahmad Ahsin Thohari, expressed his commitment to improving services in the areas of planning, finance, and governance. "The PKU Bureau is the heart of the organization. I will focus on developing strategies to support the quality improvement of UPNVJ," he said. Meanwhile, the Head of the AKK Bureau, Dr. Asropi, emphasized the importance of data consolidation and interfaculty collaboration. "My first step is to improve the data and strengthen coordination with the vice deans to ensure that collaborative programs are properly monitored," he said.
On the same occasion, UPNVJ also inaugurated Dr. Slamet Tri Wahyudi, SH, MH, as a Civil Servant (PNS) for the 2023 formation. The Rector appreciated his dedication and reminded the importance of personal competencies as a lecturer, such as a passion for teaching and academic attitude. With the spirit of transformation towards excellence, UPNVJ is committed to producing competent and competitive graduates who are ready to face global challenges.
