UPNVJ Public Relations - The National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta ( UPNVJ ) welcomed two new students through the 2025 Higher Education Affirmation Program (ADIK). They come from underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions and Indigenous Papuans (OAP), emphasizing UPNVJ's commitment to supporting equal access to higher education in Indonesia.
The two students, Agnes Gracia Warbal and Winda Alyssa Syenny Amsamsyum, passed the strict selection held by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek) in the Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Management study programs.
On Monday (4/8/2025), both of them were welcomed directly by the Chancellor of UPNVJ Prof. Anter Venus along with the academic community at the UPNVJ campus, Jakarta.
UPNVJ Rector Prof. Anter Venus stated that student admission through the ADIK pathway reflects the spirit of inclusivity and national defense. "The presence of ADIK students enriches the diversity of our campus. We are committed to providing academic and social support so they can adapt and excel," she said.
The ADIK program is a government initiative to provide higher education opportunities to students from 3T and OAP regions, with full support in the form of education costs and living assistance during the study period.
UPNVJ ensures special guidance for these two students to support their adaptation process in the urban and academic environment.
With the presence of ADIK 2025 students, UPNVJ hopes to continue contributing to producing superior human resources who are able to compete nationally and globally, while also supporting the mission of equalizing education in Indonesia.
