UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia with a solemn flag-raising ceremony at the UPNVJ Field in Pondok Labu, South Jakarta, on Saturday (August 17, 2025). UPNVJ also presented awards to 15 retired employees as a token of appreciation for their dedication and devotion to the institution.
The ceremony, attended by members of the academic community, including university leaders, lecturers, education staff, and students, honored the services of the nation's heroes and recognized the contributions of retired employees. The awards were symbolically presented by UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm., to 15 employees who had completed their service.
In her remarks, Prof. Venus emphasized that this award represents the university's appreciation for the dedication of its employees. "Their dedication has been an integral part of UPNVJ's journey. We hope the passion and values they pass on will inspire future generations," she said.
A moving atmosphere arose as the names of the retired employees were announced one by one, greeted by warm applause from the ceremony participants. The award recipients came from various faculties and work units, including:

The awards ceremony was part of a series of events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, themed "Indonesia Maju." The event affirmed UPNVJ's commitment to upholding the values of nationalism, respect, and togetherness within the university family.
