UPNVJ Teaching 2025: Students Become Agents of Change through Learning Innovation

UPNVJ Public Relations – The Student Executive Board of the “Veteran” National Development University Jakarta (BEM UPNVJ ) demonstrated the role of students as agents of change through the UPNVJ Mengajar 2025 program. The program, initiated by the Community Environment Division (Lingmas), presents innovative and inclusive learning for students of the MASTER Indonesia School in Depok, West Java, for eight days, culminating on July 30, 2025.

This activity featured interactive learning approaches, such as role-playing, visual media, and educational games, which made the learning process more lively and engaging. Students acted as learning partners, fostering students' confidence and curiosity, and creating a fun space for expression. The event culminated in an arts performance, where students showcased their talents, accompanied by touching moments when several students hugged the student teachers as an expression of gratitude.

This program also involves internal collaboration through Literacy Circle sessions with the Education and Science Division of the UPNVJ Student Executive Board (BEM), which aims to instill a culture of literacy from an early age. External support from the UPNVJ Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), the Student Affairs Division, and the Depok Village Government contributed to the program's success. Preparations since March 2025, including coordination with the local government, ensured a well-planned and impactful implementation.

"UPNVJ Mengajar 2025 reflects the students' commitment to contribute to education and the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. Innovation and collaboration are the keys to the success of this program," said Jodhy Farrel Budiman, Head of the Lingmas Division of BEM UPNVJ.

Going forward, the UPNVJ Student Executive Board hopes this program will continue and inspire other students to become agents of social transformation. This initiative emphasizes that relevant and measurable community service can leave a positive impact on education.
