Chancellor Inaugurates 1,906 75th Graduates, Ready to Realize Golden Indonesia 2045

UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held its 75th graduation ceremony at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) on Saturday, September 13, 2025. A total of 1,906 graduates from various faculties were officially inaugurated as bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, ready to contribute to Indonesia Emas 2045.

The event carried the theme "Becoming Competent & Characterful Graduates for a Golden Indonesia 2045." This theme reflects UPNVJ's commitment to producing a generation that excels academically, has a fighting spirit, and possesses national character.

"The idea of Golden Indonesia 2045 is a long-term vision to make Indonesia a developed, just, prosperous, and sovereign country by the 100th anniversary of independence," said UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm in his remarks.

He added that the vision emphasizes the development of superior and character-based human resources (HR), as well as the utilization of the demographic bonus and natural resources to create a prosperous and sustainable society. "The demographic bonus can be a blessing or a disaster. If our human resources are not competent and have character, this golden opportunity will be lost," he stressed.

On that occasion, Prof. Venus presented UPNVJ's achievements, including improved accreditation, the opening of international classes, and student achievements at the national and international levels. In 2025, UPNVJ was ranked 9th nationally based on the average UTBK score and entered the QS Southeast Asia rankings.

He advised the graduates to continue learning and adapt to changing times. "Graduation is not the end, but the beginning of service. Continue to excel and contribute to the nation," he said.

UPNVJ's 75th graduation ceremony was attended by university leaders, lecturers, and the graduates' families. In addition to the inauguration ceremony, the event also included an inspirational speech from Dr. Ismail Hasani, SH, MH, Special Staff to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology for Law, Regulation, and Governance.

UPNVJ also presented the Karya Mahardika award to four outstanding graduates, namely Liosantra Oskar (Bachelor of Political Science), Dieva Ahmad Habibie (Bachelor of Law), Hervin Abydzar (Bachelor of Information Systems), and Moh. Arif Fadhilah (Bachelor of Informatics).

This 75th graduation ceremony strengthens UPNVJ's role in producing superior and characterful human resources, while also supporting the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. With a fighting spirit, graduates are expected to be able to lead Indonesia towards a bright future.
