The UPNVJ FT Mutual Fund Team is Ready to Compete in the Energy-Efficient Car Contest.

Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Reksa Team of the Faculty of Engineering of the National Development University (UPN) Veteran Jakarta is ready to compete in the 2025 Energy Efficient Car Contest (KMHE), which is held by the National Achievement Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, on October 22-26, 2025 at the University of Jember, East Java.

This national competition challenged students to design efficient, innovative, and environmentally friendly vehicles. Sixty-eight teams from various universities participated, including Team Reksa, which relied on a fuel-efficient prototype.

The university's support was conveyed by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa, on Wednesday (October 8, 2025) in the Faculty of Engineering corridor of UPNVJ Limo, Depok. "Congratulations to the team and the supervising lecturers. The university fully supports the project from design to competition," she said.

He urged the team to maximize their efforts, maintain professionalism, and maintain unity. "You represent UPNVJ. Bring home a proud achievement," he added.

The Reksa team, which underwent months of intensive research, design, and testing, aimed for maximum results. This event honed technical skills, collaboration, and awareness of sustainable energy, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 7 on Affordable and Clean Energy. Data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) from 2024 noted that energy-efficient innovations have the potential to reduce national carbon emissions by up to 15 percent by 2030.

Support from the UPNVJ academic community and the community is expected to help the Reksa Team record achievements at KMHE 2025.
