UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) and Sam Ratulangi University (UNSRAT) Manado signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 10, 2025, at the UNSRAT campus in Manado. This collaboration aims to strengthen academic collaboration, research, and community service.
The MoU signing was attended by the Rector of UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MAComm, and the Rector of UNSRAT, Prof. Dr. Ir. Oktovian Berty Alexander Sompie, M.Eng., IPU, ASEAN Eng, along with the leaders of both universities. This memorandum of understanding covers the three pillars of higher education, lecturer and student exchanges, research collaborations, joint seminars, curriculum strengthening, and institutional capacity building.
"This collaboration is a strategic step toward realizing UPNVJ's vision as an innovative and globally competitive campus. We will follow up with concrete programs that will have a real impact," said Prof. Anter Venus.
UNSRAT Rector, Prof. Oktovian Sompie, welcomed the partnership. "This synergy will create a collaborative and innovative academic ecosystem to address global challenges," he said.
The event also included a strategic discussion on implementing collaboration at the faculty and study program levels, particularly in the fields of economics, business, technology, and the social and humanities. This collaboration is expected to foster innovation relevant to the needs of society and industry.
