To Improve Tax Literacy, UPNVJ Holds Workshop on Coretax Features and Hybrid NPWP Creation

 

UPNVJ Public Relations - The Insight Club of the Tax Center Student Study Group of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a hybrid workshop on the Coretax feature and NPWP creation on November 8, 2025.

The event, held in Room BM.301–302 of the General Soedirman Building, UPNVJ, was conducted via Zoom and attended by 50 participants, both offline and online. The event aimed to strengthen students' understanding of the digital tax system and prepare them to become tax-conscious professionals in the modern era.

Rahmasari Fahria, SE, MM, Ak., the Supervisor of the UPNVJ Tax Center, opened the event with a motivational speech. She emphasized that this workshop would equip students with practical tax skills. "Students must put theory into practice to develop tax awareness from an early age," she said.

Speakers Fanita Pratiwi, SE, and Afifah Sekar Arum, SE, from the South Jakarta Regional Tax Office II, presented the Coretax feature as the Directorate General of Taxes' integrated platform. They explained the data validation and digital integration processes. A practical session guided participants through the direct registration of their Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), complete with mentoring.

Participants actively participated in the Q&A session, discussing the functions of Coretax and the latest regulations. This workshop supports national tax literacy and fosters a disciplined young generation. UPNVJ is committed to producing graduates who contribute to the economy.
