UPNVJ Public Relations – The Faculty of Law of the Veteran National Development University (FH UPNVJ) in collaboration with the ResponsiBank Coalition held Consumer Fest 2025 at the UPNVJ Internet Plaza. This national event aims to strengthen consumer literacy and public understanding of sustainable finance through talk shows and educational exhibitions. More than 100 students and partners participated, making it a crucial opportunity to encourage concrete action on consumer protection in the financial sector. (November 27, 2025)
The talk show titled "Make Your Money Matter" presented the Chairman of the National Consumer Protection Agency (BPKN) Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Mufti Mubarok, the Daily Chair of the Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI) Niti Emiliana, and Lecturer of the Faculty of Law, UPNVJ Dr. Andriyanto Adhi Nugroho. They discussed the urgency of financial literacy, transparency of banking services, and the role of the government in guaranteeing consumer rights. The event was also marked by the signing of an Implementation Agreement between the Faculty of Law, UPNVJ and the ResponsiBank Coalition, which strengthens collaboration in the field of education and research on sustainable finance.
Booths at the event featured information on consumer rights, environmentally friendly financial practices, and provided a platform for participants to voice their demands to the government and the financial services industry. Partners including PRAKARSA, TuK Indonesia, YLKI, the Youth Movement for Climate, and Green MSMEs also participated. Creative activities, such as coloring bookmarks and making beaded bracelets, successfully attracted students' interest and active involvement in this issue.
Consumer Fest 2025 reflects UPNVJ's commitment to building a transparent and responsible financial ecosystem. Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm, Rector of UPNVJ, stated, "This event aligns with the university's vision to produce a critical generation that supports sustainable policies, while strengthening our role in public advocacy."
