The Undergraduate Program in International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) signed an Implementation Agreement with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) at IKMAS Malaysia on Wednesday (24/12/25).
The signing follows an institutional collaboration aimed at strengthening the internationalization of higher education through academic collaboration at the undergraduate level. This collaboration involves both institutions improving the quality of education, faculty capacity, and students' global perspectives, with operational implementation including student exchanges and international seminars.
The scope of the collaboration includes student exchanges, guest lectures, international seminars, research collaborations, and other academic activities aligned with the learning outcomes of the International Relations Study Program. This initiative encourages the internationalization of the curriculum to adapt to global dynamics, while simultaneously expanding the international network of FISIP UPNVJ. The results are expected to enhance graduates' competency in international relations, with a stronger cross-cultural understanding.
This step supports UPNVJ's commitment as a leading public service institution in producing globally competitive human resources. Collaboration with UKM is a tangible contribution to academic development, particularly amidst the increasingly international demands of higher education.
In an official statement, the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Study Program in International Relations, Wiwiek Rukmi Dwi A., S.IP, M.Si., stated, "This collaboration strengthens the policy of defending the country through quality international education. As a leading PTN BLU, UPNVJ is committed to increasing global collaboration until 2030, supporting the national target of achieving graduates with cross-cultural insight and high competitiveness.
