UPNVJ Public Relations - Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in education and banking. The signing took place in Nusantara Room 2, UPNVJ Rectorate Building on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, involving UPNVJ Rector Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., and Riadi Arief Aladin as Regional Funding & Transaction Banking Head of BRI. This collaboration aims to increase the relevance of education through internship programs, public lectures, and support for financial services and CSR, including the provision of ambulances for campus health facilities.
The MoU covers UPNVJ employee payroll management, staff loan facilities, BRIVA services for student Single Tuition Fee payments, the development of an e-parking system, and the opening of student accounts. This initiative simplifies daily financial transactions for the academic community while promoting digital inclusion on campus.
In the area of human resource development, the collaboration includes student internship programs at BRI units, placement of UPNVJ graduates into bank recruitment processes, and public lectures by banking practitioners on financial operations, risk management, and industry trends. Furthermore, BRI's technology development and CSR programs will support the provision of ambulances to improve healthcare services for students, lecturers, and the surrounding community.
This agreement strengthens the synergy between state universities and the national industry in supporting educational transformation. BRI affirms its commitment to an inclusive education ecosystem through sustainable services.
In an official statement, UPNVJ Rector Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., stated, "This MoU strengthens the National Defense policy through quality education and industry collaboration. UPNVJ also improves graduate readiness until 2030, supporting the national target of developing competitive human resources through internship programs and financial innovation," said the Rector.
