UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) announced the winners of the 2025 Academic Integrity Competition to coincide with the 77th National Defense Day commemoration ceremony. The event involved the entire academic community and emphasized strengthening the value of integrity as the foundation of quality education. Prof. Netti Herawati, Vice Rector for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs, along with Dr. Sri Lestari Wahyuningroem, Chair of the UPNVJ Academic Integrity Team, presented the awards directly to the winners.
This announcement is part of UPNVJ's systematic efforts to prevent violations such as plagiarism, data fabrication, and academic dishonesty. The year 2025 has been designated as a critical year for strengthening integrity governance through policies, guidance, and outreach for students, lecturers, and educational staff. These activities aim to raise awareness among the academic community about the role of integrity in education, research, and community service.
The series of activities included seminars, a roadshow for each faculty, the launch of the Academic Integrity Pocketbook, educational materials, and supporting attributes. UPNVJ also held a "Call for Academic Integrity Ambassadors" along with mural, poster, and essay competitions on integrity to develop students as role models and agents of change in campus culture.
The winners of the competition are: Dealova Rihadatul Aisy (1st Place in the Academic Integrity Ambassador Competition), Amla Sarani (2nd Place in the Academic Integrity Ambassador Competition), Muhammad Tunjang Syaeh (3rd Place in the Academic Integrity Ambassador Competition and 3rd Place in the Popular Scientific Essay Category), Dhian Luluh Rohmawati (1st Place in the Educational Poster Category), Grace Natasya Br Sembiring and Yabes Elgi Panggabean (2nd Place in the Educational Poster Category), Gita Kezia (3rd Place in the Educational Poster Category), Nada Fitria Berliana (1st Place in the Popular Scientific Essay Category), and Nur Anna Irvania (2nd Place in the Popular Scientific Essay Category).
Strengthening academic integrity is not only about preventing violations, but also the foundation for producing a superior generation that contributes to the nation's progress.
