Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of the National Veteran Development University (UPNVJ) Jakarta conducted a strategic visit to Dr. Sitanala General Hospital, Tangerang, on Friday, January 30, 2026, to strengthen institutional cooperation within the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This meeting discussed collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service, involving the leadership of FIKES and the management of RSUP. The collaboration aims to improve student competency through direct clinical practice, evidence-based research innovation, and health education programs for the community, thereby supporting the transformation of a higher-quality national health system.
In the constructive discussion, both parties agreed to make Dr. Sitanala General Hospital a comprehensive clinical practice site for students of the Nursing, Public Health, Nutrition, and Physiotherapy Study Programs at UPNVJ's Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES). This will allow students to hone their clinical skills and professionalism in a national referral healthcare environment. Furthermore, collaborative research with UPNVJ lecturers and RSUP healthcare workers is aimed at producing evidence-based practice innovations that improve the quality of medical services.
The collaboration also includes community service through health promotion activities that utilize the university's academic excellence and hospital resources. "The synergy with Dr. Sitanala General Hospital provides students with the opportunity to learn from national service standards, while strengthening networks for applied research and community service," he said in an interview with the UPNVJ Public Relations Team.
