UPNVJ Emphasizes Discipline and a Humanistic Approach in its 2026 UTBK Supervisory Briefing

UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a briefing for 398 proctors of the 2026 Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK) on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium. This activity was held to ensure the readiness of all proctors to carry out their duties during the UTBK implementation, both in terms of discipline, technical understanding, and a humanistic approach to participants.

UPNVJ's Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Henry Binsar Hamonangan Sitorus, provided initial guidance to all supervisors. He emphasized the importance of commitment, time management, and thoroughness in carrying out supervisory procedures.

"I hope everyone maintains commitment and time discipline. Supervisors must gather at the main post no later than 5:45 a.m. WIB. We will ensure that neither supervisors nor participants are late. Conduct detailed checks, the technical details of which will be explained in more detail. Please continue to respect and care for participants, and carry out all procedures humanely," he said.

UPNVJ's New Student Admissions Coordinator, Fajar Nugroho, then delivered a technical briefing regarding the implementation of the 2026 UTBK. He explained that the number of supervisors this year had increased compared to the previous year, in line with the increasing need for exam implementation.

"This year, interest in becoming supervisors has increased. The number of supervisors this year has reached 398, an increase of 100 compared to last year. During implementation, the presence of supervisors on time, or even earlier, is essential to facilitate our collaborative work," said Fajar.

According to reports, the number of participants for the 2026 UTBK at UPNVJ reached 22,428. 2,040 participants will take the UTBK each day, with 410 at UPNVJ Limo and 1,630 at UPNVJ Pondok Labu.

To ensure the smooth running of the exam, UPNVJ has prepared 29 exam rooms across two locations: six at UPNVJ Limo and 23 at UPNVJ Pondok Labu. The availability of rooms, proctors, and supporting equipment is crucial to maintaining order and comfort during the UTBK.

Through this briefing, UPNVJ affirmed its commitment to administering the 2026 UTBK in an orderly, professional, and service-oriented manner. Supervisors are expected to not only carry out their duties according to procedures but also to create a safe, orderly, and humane exam environment for all participants.
