UPNVJ Public Relations – Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Indonesia Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) was present in person on the first day of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Monday (10/8/2026). AHY's presence in front of 4,612 new students was one of the main agendas of the 2026 UPNVJ PKKMB which took place at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta. On that occasion, AHY delivered material entitled “Building Indonesia from Campus: The Role of Students in Sustainable National Development.
AHY's presence was enthusiastically welcomed by thousands of new UPNVJ students. Addressing the PKKMB participants, AHY encouraged the younger generation to understand that students play a crucial role in the nation's development journey, not only through academic achievement but also through ideas, innovation, leadership, and tangible contributions to society.
In his presentation, AHY connected campus life to the challenges of national development. Campuses are strategic spaces for developing human resources with critical thinking skills, adapting to change, and providing solutions to various development issues.
