HumasUPNVJ - In the framework of compiling competency standards and lecturer plotting for odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year UPNVJ carried out a review of competency standards and lecturer plotting which was carried out for two days starting from Monday 15 July to Tuesday 16 July 2019 located at PSW Antasari Hotels, Jakarta.

This competency standard review activity was attended by the Deans, Deputy Deans I, Heads of Study Programs, Heads of Departments and several UPNVJ staff. Activity   started last Monday and was opened by the remarks of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Anter Venus MA., Comm., in his remarks he said that one of the activities was carried out to welcome new students later. UPNVJ must have qualified lecturer standards in each faculty.

Apart from that, the Chancellor of UPNVJ also gave directions, in his instructions he gave encouragement and motivation as well as an appeal to the lecturers who were present. A lecturer, apart from having the ability, expertise in a particular field, is also required to make serious efforts to manage himself, evaluate himself , equip himself as best he can. Moreover, nowadays it is Industry 4.0, lecturers must keep up with the times and the development of the students they teach "There should be no more lecturers giving lectures using the one-way lecture method for 2 hours". he said. Not only that, the Chancellor of UPNVJ explained information on UPN positions in the SBMPTN specialization, vision and mission of UPNVJ, curriculum, lecturer qualifications, and regarding learning models.

Dean of FISIP, Dr. Dudy had the opportunity to explain the standards held by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences , "Lecturers at FISIP must have their respective roots of expertise".

The study activities continued until today (16/07/19) starting with the presentation of the lecturer competency standards and the plotting of the odd semester academic year lecturers. 2019/2020 per faculty respectively.
