HumasUPNVJ – Campus Ambassadors together with 7 members of the UPNVJ student regiment took part in the 1st batch of State Defense training organized by the Ministry of Defense for approximately four days at the Rumpin education and training center, Bogor (Monday 19 August - Thursday 22 August 2019).

The State Defense training was attended by 50 participants from various universities, including Al-Azhar University, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, Poltekes, Uhamka, and the University of Indonesia.

This training is aimed at all Indonesian Citizens (WNI) in the framework of defending the country to maintain the integrity and unity of Indonesia, especially for students today, because many things will affect their social environment, therefore, training Defending the Country is held to instill a sense of love for the motherland today, especially for the younger generation as the successor to the nation and Pancasila as the ideology of the state and nation.

Activities carried out during the training included UN implementation and yells. In addition, there were also public lectures consisting of nationalism, universal defense systems, anti-radical and terrorism.

There was something interesting during the training, namely during the training the participants' cellphones were confiscated. Each meal pays homage and also table manner according to what is taught in military teachings. This is done to train participants (students) to be more focused on what they are doing.
