UPNVJ Public Relations – UPNVJ Faculty of Social Sciences held a public lecture with the theme " Maintaining TV Newsroom Neutrality from the Influence of Oligarchy in the Digitalization Era" on February 13 2020 at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Building, 4th floor of the Jenderal Soedirman building UPN Veteran Jakarta. This public lecture was attended by all students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UPN Veterans Jakarta. This public lecture event took place from 09.00-15.30 WIB, with well-known speakers such as Dr. Karni Ilyas, SH, Dudi Hendrakusuma Syahlani, Chacha Annisa, Imran Tajudin, Chess Meiwanto, and Latifa Syahril.

This public lecture was opened with remarks by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at UPN Veterans Jakarta, Dr. Kusumajanti, S.Sos., M.Sc. In his remarks, the Deputy Dean said that this activity was a follow-up to the MoU between UPN Veterans Jakarta and TV One. Apart from that, in this activity students are expected to be able to dig up further information directly from practitioners regarding the techniques of writing News and Affair. In this public lecture event, there was also the signing of a cooperation agreement between the UPNVJ Faculty of Social Sciences and TV ONE.

This public lecture was moderated by a lecturer and also the head of the UPN Veterans Jakarta Social Sciences TV Lab, namely Mrs. Ruth Rismanta Silalahi. There are 2 sessions in this public lecture, the first session is held from 10.00-12.00, with Dudi Hendrakusuma as the speaker. In this first session, the topic raised was "Human Capital Investment For Competitive Advantage" . In his presentation, Dudi Hendrakusuma conveyed several things such as the importance of Human Capital because it includes knowledge, skills, experience as well as talent and passion within oneself which are also considered important because they exist in each individual. After the resource person delivered the material and also conducted a question and answer session, the charter was then handed over to the resource person and also the moderator.
