HumasUPNVJ - As many as 27 students including the Student Consultative Council (MPM), University Student Executive Board (BEM-U) and Heads of Student Activity Units (UKM) were inaugurated directly by the Chancellor of UPN Veteran Jakarta, on Wednesday (26/02/20) at the Bhineka Tunggal Ika Auditorium. This inauguration process is the beginning of the start of the new management to carry out their duties for the next year.

The inauguration was marked by the recitation of the oath of office by all newly appointed MPM, BEM University and UKM management. In their oath, all administrators of this student organization will carry out the mandate and run the organization in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

The event was attended by the vice chancellor for student affairs and cooperation, the deputy deans of the faculties, and all supervisors of student activity units. In front of the audience, the Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta, Erna Hernawati, delivered her remarks. She said that the inauguration of these administrators was a sign of the complete trust of other students in the current appointed administrators. The Chancellor also hopes that all activities and programs that will be carried out in the future must conform to the vision of the university and do not forget to implement the identity of the Bela Negara campus that UPNVJ has.

“ With the inauguration of the students in front of me, this is a sign that all other students have believed in you. As a leader, you must understand the vision of the organization and the university's vision as a direction in making programs. Create a new program with the creativity that you have by not forgetting the implementation of Defending the Country as our campus identity, "said the Chancellor.

The Chancellor also expressed his hope for these new administrators to keep trying to maintain the good name of the campus, advancing UPN Veteran Jakarta with their creativity so that they can be on par with other superior universities.

" I hope that together we can advance UPN Veteran Jakarta with your creativity so that it can be equal or more than other superior PTNs. I also entrust this National Defense Identity to you to be implemented in your respective activities in accordance with your development and creativity, " he added.
