Against Corona Virus, UPNVJ Distributes Free Hand Sanitizers

HumasUPNVJ - Reporting from CNN Indonesia update corona as of March 19 2020 the number of positive corona patients has increased to 309, with 25 of them having died and 15 people being declared cured.

One simple step to prevent the Corona virus is to maintain hand hygiene. WHO also recommends washing hands for at least 20 seconds using soap. If you want to be more practical, you can use a hand sanitizer.

However, during the Corona virus outbreak in Indonesia, hand sanitizers became a rare item. The high demand has made several shops and supermarkets run out of stock of this practical hand sanitizer.

On this basis, the leadership of UPN Veteran Jakarta took steps to prevent the spread of the corona virus by distributing free hand sanitizers to several locations around the UPN Veteran Jakarta campus.

The hand sanitizer produced by UPN Veteran Jakarta pharmacy students will be distributed to 25 points in the campus environment.

According to Syamsuri, an employee of UPN Veteran Jakarta, today, Friday (20/03/20) he and his fellow employees distributed hand sanitizers in several locations, one of which was at the Fatahillah Orphanage Foundation. Syamsuri gave handsanitizer directly to Sa'bani as Chair of the Fatahillah Orphanage Foundation.

In the meeting, Sa'bani expressed his pride and joy for the attention given by the university to prevent the virus which is currently worrying the public.

" Alhamdulillah, thank you UPNVJ Chancellor for your attention in handling the Corona virus. Hopefully it will be a good deed for all of us and UPNVJ will be clean and spared from the corona virus outbreak, "said Sa'bani.

With this step, it is hoped that both inside and outside the UPN Veteran Jakarta campus environment, citizens can maintain health and hand hygiene and avoid the corona virus which is increasingly massive in Jakarta at this time.
