HumasUPNVJ - Chancellor of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP said the second vaccination program which was held in collaboration with the Directorate of Community Development Polda Metro Jaya, the Indonesian Student Regiment Alumni Association (IARMI) DKI Jakarta, and the Jayakarta Student Regiment (Menwa) ran smoothly on Saturday ( 28/8/2021) ago.

"The second vaccination activity with Ditbinmas Polda Metro Jaya, IARMI DKI Jakarta, and Menwa Jayakarta is a form of UPNVJ's commitment to continue to support the government in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic," said Erna in Jakarta, Tuesday (31/8/2021).

Erna said UPNVJ continues to collaborate with various parties, including in organizing vaccination activities so that it can build community resilience against Covid-19. In the vaccination activity last Saturday (28/8/2021), the Deposit Insurance Agency (LPS) also joined as one of the parties that worked together.

Erna hopes that this cooperation can continue. The mass vaccination activity for the general public around the UPNVJ campus is a form of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education, especially community service.

"The vaccination activity on Saturday (28/8/2021) used the AstraZeneca vaccine for the first dose of vaccine and Sinovac for the second dose of vaccine. We received 2,000 doses of vaccine from Biddokes Polda Metro Jaya," he said.

Meanwhile, Director of Community Development Polda Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Badya Wijaya, SH, MH expressed his appreciation to UPNVJ and all parties who supported the implementation of the second vaccination.

"We express our highest appreciation to UPNVJ for facilitating this second vaccination center. The success of this activity is due to many parties helping and collaborating," he said.

Badya said that the public's interest in taking part in the vaccination was higher compared to the first vaccination activity which was held last Saturday (31/7/2021). Because of that, the committee prepared for this activity more thoroughly, including providing 40 computers to make it easier to enter data.

"This makes activities more orderly and health protocols can be implemented more strictly," he said.

Badya hopes that this collaborative activity can immediately build community resilience and end the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We urge people who haven't yet to get vaccinated immediately because it is a form of our struggle against the Covid-19 pandemic," he said. (*)
